Kampala (Uganda), 20 November 2025 (SPS) – Ambassador Nafei Rais presented copies of his credentials as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to Uganda.
The Sahrawi diplomat handed over the copies to the Director of Protocol at the Ugandan Ministry of Foreign Affairs during a ceremony attended by the First Secretary of Protocol and his assistant.
The Director of Protocol affirmed the Ugandan government's consistent position on the Sahrawi cause and expressed his country’s readiness to coordinate joint work between Uganda and the Sahrawi Republic in various fields of cooperation, as well as on regional and international issues.
For his part, the Sahrawi Ambassador conveyed, on behalf of the Sahrawi government and people, his appreciation for Uganda’s longstanding stance on the just cause of the Sahrawi people, wishing Uganda progress and prosperity.
