Shaheed El-Hafed, November 9, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Brahim Ghali, chaired on Sunday a meeting of the Council of Ministers devoted to evaluating the Government’s 2025 program and discussing the upcoming 2026 program.
The meeting focused on assessing the implementation of the 2025 Government Program and approving the draft program for 2026, which will later be presented to the National Council in its next session.
In his opening remarks following the presentation of the agenda, President Brahim Ghali praised the government’s efforts to advance the work of national institutions and meet essential needs, as well as its responsiveness in addressing citizens’ concerns and identifying areas requiring improvement.
The President also called on everyone to confront the enemy’s policies targeting internal unity, warning of their implications for security and stability in the region.
In a statement to national media, the Minister Delegate for Oversight, Inspection, Public Property, and Relations with the National Council, Mr. Fadhali Ali Bouya, indicated that the meeting would address two main points — foremost among them, the evaluation of the Government’s 2025 program across the various fronts of the national struggle.
The Minister added that the Council would review the results of past work, note observations and conclusions, and integrate them into the government program to be approved.
Mr. Fadhali Ali Bouya further indicated that the 2026 Government Program would be exceptional, taking into account the new international and continental circumstances surrounding the Sahrawi people’s struggle — particularly following UN Security Council Resolution 2797 and the unprecedented wave of popular and national mobilization it generated.
