Wilaya of Auserd, 30 October 2025 (SPS) – Thousands of Sahrawis of all ages protested today, Thursday, to reject attempts to circumvent the legitimate rights of the Sahrawi people, condemning the content of the U.S. draft resolution.
The protesters chanted slogans expressing their absolute rejection of any attempts to bypass the Sahrawis’ legitimate rights: “No to autonomy, independence for Western Sahara,” “The Sahrawi people will not compromise on their right to freedom and self-determination,” emphasizing that such attempts will only increase the Sahrawi people's determination to uphold their firm stance in the face of all conspiracies.
The large Sahrawi turnout in the wilaya of Auserd reflected the spirit of resilience, steadfastness, and continued struggle — inspired by the 1970 Zemla Uprising, the Gdeim Izik protest camp, and the November 13, 2020 uprising.
