Marseille (France), June 15, 2025 (SPS) – The Secretary-General of the National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW), Ms. Shaba Seini, is participating in the International Women's March Forum held in Marseille, France.
This sixth edition of the forum featured an address by Ms. Shaba Seini, who highlighted the struggles of Sahrawi women fighting for their full rights to freedom and independence.
The NUSW Secretary-General shed light on the harsh reality faced by Sahrawi women under Moroccan occupation in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, where they face arbitrary arrest simply for raising the Sahrawi flag or demanding freedom.
On the sidelines of the event, Ms. Senia held meetings with several participating women and briefed them on the latest developments in the Sahrawi cause, marked by direct confrontation with the Moroccan occupation.
