Algiers, May 27, 2025 (SPS) – The Sahrawi Ambassador to Algeria, Mr. Khatri Adouh, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, praised Algeria's unwavering support, both at the governmental and popular levels, for just causes and struggling peoples, foremost among them the Sahrawi people and their just cause.
In a statement following his reception by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during which he presented his credentials as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sahrawi Republic to Algeria, Mr. Adouh commended Algeria's steadfast stance in championing just causes and oppressed nations, particularly the Sahrawi people and their legitimate struggle.
He stated: "Today, I was received by the Algerian President, to whom I presented my credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sahrawi Republic to Algeria. I conveyed to him the greetings and gratitude of his brother, President Brahim Ghali, as well as the appreciation and thanks of the Sahrawi people for Algeria’s strong, consistent, and enduring support for the Sahrawi people’s struggle and their just cause."
Mr. Adouh affirmed his commitment to strengthening the historical ties between the two nations and their peoples, rooted in shared history, Islamic-Arab and African identity, and mutual solidarity. He noted that "these relations are fundamentally built on the joint struggle against colonialism, domination, injustice, and exploitation."
The Sahrawi diplomat also praised Algeria’s growing regional and international stature, which reflects its leadership, strength, and achievements in various developmental, economic, and multilateral fields.
