South Africa, March 3, 2025 (SPS) – A joint committee between the National Union of Sahrawi Women and the Women's Federation of South Africa has been announced, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two organizations.
According to its organizers, the committee aims to raise awareness about the struggle of Sahrawi women, advocate for their legitimate right to self-determination and independence, highlight their just cause, and celebrate the achievements they have made at both national and international levels.
The establishment of the committee follows an agreement between the two organizations after a recent meeting between the Secretary-General of the National Union of Sahrawi Women and the Secretary-General of the Women's Federation of South Africa.
