Montevideo (Uruguay), March 1, 2025 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, arrived in the capital, Montevideo, at an invitation from his Uruguayan counterpart, Mr. Luis Lacalle Pou, to attend the inauguration ceremony of the elected president, Yamandú Orsi.
President Brahim Ghali was welcomed at Carrasco International Airport by a representative of the Uruguayan government and several officials tasked with receiving guests attending this distinguished event.
The inauguration ceremony of the new president is scheduled to take place this Saturday, March 1, with the participation of one hundred delegations representing heads of state, governments, and official delegations, including 15 heads of state, according to Uruguayan sources.
