Kampala (Uganda), January 11, 2025 (SPS) - The President of the Republic , Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, affirmed the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic's commitment to achieving the goals of the African Union Agenda 2063.
In his speech during the Extraordinary Summit of the African Union on Agriculture in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, President Brahim Ghali stated that the Sahrawi Republic stands firmly with its African brothers in achieving the objectives of the African Union Agenda 2063. He emphasized the commitment to the principles of solidarity, cooperation, and respect for the rights of peoples and human rights, especially for those still struggling for self-determination, freedom, and progress.
The President added that the African continent deserves all member states to exert every effort to overcome the crises and challenges that hinder its integration, unity, and solidarity as an effective, creative, and innovative bloc capable not only of caring for all its peoples but also of saving humanity from the specters of hunger and backwardness.
"Yes, our continent deserves us to establish not only fair and coherent political and economic systems aligned with the principles and objectives of our foundational law but also an agricultural system that provides pathways to prosperity for all our peoples. Therefore, let us work together to achieve this dream, guided by a clear vision for the future based on sustainability, inclusivity, innovation, and commitment to our common goals," said President Brahim Ghali.
He reiterated the Sahrawi Republic's support for implementing the outcomes of the summit.
