Shaheed Al-Hafed, 10 January 2025 (SPS) - The President of the Republic , Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, paid a courtesy visit to Swedish supporters at their residence in the Sahrawi refugee camps.
During the visit, President Brahim Ghali praised the significant role played by the two Swedish cyclists in raising awareness about the Sahrawi cause through their tour of most countries on bicycles, highlighting the justice of the Sahrawi people. This tour concluded with an international solidarity conference in the wilaya of Boujdour, Sahrawi refugee camps.
The President of the Republic emphasized the importance of breaking the media blackout and confronting the distortions of the Moroccan regime and its expansionist rhetoric through advocacy and raising awareness about the justice of the Sahrawi cause within communities, civil society institutions, media, and academic and political institutions.
For her part, global environmental activist Greta Thunberg pointed out the injustice faced by the Sahrawi people, expressing her readiness to advocate for the rights of the Sahrawi people in all international forums.
