Shaheed El-Hafed, January 4, 2025 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, affirmed that the developments in the liberation war waged by the Sahrawi people have created a new situation that must be addressed with vigilance and mobilization of national effort.
In his speech during the opening of the annual foreign relations conference, President Brahim Ghali said that there is no doubt that this development in our liberation war has created a new situation that requires addressing with vigilance and mobilization of national effort across all fronts, in order to confront the increasing challenges amid the serious developments taking place in the world.
President Brahim pointed out that the national cause is currently going through a distinguished phase in our national history, highlighted by the resumption of armed struggle, as a right guaranteed by international charters for colonized peoples, and as a legitimate response to Morocco's blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement established between the Sahrawi and Moroccan armies under the supervision of the United Nations.
"This opportunity cannot pass," said the President, "without expressing our appreciation, respect, and gratitude to the valiant fighters of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army, who continue steadfastly on the path of loyalty to the martyrs' promise, striking the strongholds of the aggressive occupiers, all determined to complete the liberation mission."
