Tunis, November 27, 2024 (SPS) - The International University Conference began on Tuesday evening in Hammamet, Tunisia, under the supervision of the Actors Center, the University of Monastir, and the Higher Institute of Languages of Tunisia, with international and Sahrawi participation.
During the conference, Professor Mohamed Ali Lamen will deliver a lecture titled "Popular Poetry in Western Sahara: A Memory of Challenge and Resistance."
Professor Hama Mehdi will present a lecture titled "Resistance and Resilience in Western Sahara."
The conference is attended by a large number of Arab academics and researchers.
The 9th annual university activities of the Actors Center, in partnership with the University of Monastir, are being held this year in Hammamet, with the participation of over 120 researchers from Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Iraq, Kuwait, and Western Sahara.
The program for the 9th annual university activities includes several sub-seminars and discussion sessions.
