Cairo (Egypt), November 25, 2024 (SPS) - The National Police is participating in the fourth annual meeting for coordinating police operations, hosted by the Egyptian Center for Peacekeeping Operations Training.
The meeting, overseen by the North Africa Regional Capability (NARC), will run until the 29th of this month and includes 32 representatives from various planning elements of regional economic groups, the United Nations, the German Agency for Cooperation, and other partners.
The aim of the meeting is to discuss and enhance the participation of police components in peacekeeping operations across the African continent, address challenges faced by police forces, and participate in operations similar to those of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS), as well as to adopt an action plan for 2025.
Mohamed Baba Jumani is attending the meeting as a representative of the National Police.
