Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), November 24, 2024 (SPS) - Minister of Interior Brahim Bashir Billah and Minister of Transport and Energy, Salek Mohammed Ambarak, arrived Saturday morning in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, to participate in separate continental meetings related to their areas of expertise.
The Minister of Interior will attend a continental conference on peace, prosperity, and development, invited by the Ethiopian Ministry of Peace, while the Minister of Transport and Energy will participate in several meetings and conferences organized by the African Infrastructure Development Program throughout this week.
Upon their arrival, the Sahrawi ministers received an official welcome from Ethiopian authorities at Addis Ababa International Airport, in the presence of Ethiopian media.
The participation of the Sahrawi ministers in these continental meetings presents an important opportunity to showcase the Sahrawi experience in managing state institutions, as well as a chance to exchange expertise with their counterparts.
Additionally, it represents a significant contribution to the continental efforts aimed at solidifying the concept of African unity through joint projects across various ministerial sectors.
