The delegation of revolutionary parties, which came in support of SWAPO, included the Popular Front for the Liberation of Saguia El-Hamra and Rio de Oro (Polisario Front) along with several other parties such as the ANC from South Africa, MPLA from Angola, ZANU-PF from Zimbabwe, FRELIMO from Mozambique, PSUV from Venezuela, as well as parties from Botswana, China, and Russia.
The parties reaffirmed their continued support for liberation and independence issues that Namibia has fiercely defended, including the Sahrawi people's right to freedom, self-determination, and independence.
The Sahrawi national memory retains Namibia's courageous and ongoing positions in supporting the Sahrawi cause both continentally and internationally.
Sahrawi Deputy Saeed Jamani, representing the Polisario Front, met with many brothers from other African parties and some Namibian politicians who reiterated their commitment to supporting the struggle and efforts of the Sahrawi people.
