La Paz (Bolivia), November 9, 2024 (SPS) - Bolivian President Luis Arce reiterated his country's support for the Sahrawi people and its right to freedom and self-determination.
This came during his speech at the opening session of the current legislative assembly, which included members from both the Senate and the Parliament, in the presence of the diplomatic corps accredited in La Paz, including the Charge d'Affaires of the Sahrawi Embassy, Mr. Khatri Mouloud.
President Luis Arce emphasized Bolivia's honorable positions and steadfast principles in defending the rights of peoples to freedom and self-determination. This is a position he reiterated at the recent BRICS summit in Russia, as well as at the United Nations earlier, where he called for an end to the injustices faced by the Sahrawi people and for its right to freely choose their own destiny.
