Caracas (Venezuela), September 12, 2024 (SPS) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Mr. Ivan Gil, received the Minister Counselor at the Presidency in charge of diplomatic affairs, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, who conveyed a message from Mr. Brahim Ghali, the President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, to his Venezuelan counterpart, Mr. Nicolás Maduro.
During this meeting, the two sides reviewed the development of the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, the latest developments concerning Moroccan aggression against the Sahrawi Republic, as well as the international situation.
The meeting, held at the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital Caracas, was attended by the Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister for Africa, Mr. Yuri Pimentel, and Ms. Yurlen Rondon, the General Director for Africa, along with the Sahrawi Ambassador to the Republic of Venezuela, Mr. Mohamed Salem Rguibi.
