Boumerdes (Algeria), July 24, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, affirmed that Morocco is the first source of danger to peace and security in the region.
President Brahim Ghali, in his speech during his supervision of the closing ceremony of the University of Martyr Aba Ali Hamoudi for Sahrawi Cadres in the Algerian Wilaya of Boumerdes, made it clear once again that it must be emphasized that the first imminent danger threatening the peoples and countries of the region comes from the Moroccan occupation state.
He added, "The matter did not stop at the policies of aggression and occupation of the lands of neighbors, in the context of an expansionist approach that does not recognize international borders, which affected Algeria and Mauritania and the Sahrawi Republic is still suffering from its consequences”.
"The matter also did not stop at the systematic and increasing flooding of the region with drugs from the Kingdom of Morocco, the largest producer and exporter of cannabis in the world, and the dire effects this has on the youth, societies and economies of the countries of the region. “It did not stop at supporting and encouraging organized crime gangs and terrorist groups that wreak havoc in the neighborhood," President Brahim Ghali said.
"With all the evidence - President Brahim Ghali said - the Moroccan Makhzen occupation regime today is a real and imminent danger, as it has deliberately opened the door wide open to the destructive agendas of the Zionist entity in our region, by throwing itself completely into its arms, facilitating the passage of its plans, forming military and security alliances with it, and engaging with it openly in its aggressive policies and crimes against humanity against the brotherly Palestinian people."
