Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), July 04, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, sent today, a congratulatory message to his Algerian counterpart, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of Algeria's independence coincides with the 5th of July.
The President said in his congratulatory message, "On the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the Independence and Youth Day, I take this opportunity to extend to Your Excellency, in my own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Sahrawi Republic, my warmest congratulations and best wishes and, through you, to sister Algeria as a whole, government and people."
The President of the Republic considered that Algeria's independence is not related to a separate and limited event, but rather to a pivotal and decisive development in the entire region, whose impact and repercussions extended, in a remarkable Algerian contribution, to free oppressed peoples from the yoke of hateful colonialism, in Africa and other Continents of the world.
"Once again, we renew to you our sincere will and firm determination to strengthen the deep, rooted and distinguished relations and ties existing between the two brotherly peoples and countries of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Sahrawi Republic," says the congratulatory message.
The President of the Republic concluded his message by saying, "We renew our permanent readiness to work with you, and with the countries of the region, to face the challenges and serious developments that the world witnesses, and to achieve their aspirations to live in peace, security, stability, prosperity”.
