Wilaya of Auserd, 1 January 2024 (SPS) - The authorities and the masses of the wilaya of Auserd organized Monday solidarity stands with the Sahrawi civilian prisoners, especially the group of "Gdeim Izik", in the presence of the authorities of the wilaya, its masses and Dairas.
The solidarity event was an opportunity for the authorities of the Dairas and their masses to renew their call to the international community, through its various bodies, to pressure the Moroccan state to release all Sahrawi civilian prisoners in Moroccan prisons, especially the prisoners of "Gdeim Izik " without any conditions.
The participants affirmed their full solidarity with the prisoners of the "Gdeim Izik" group, their families, the Sahrawi prisoners, and all the masses of the Sahrawi people in the occupied territories, southern Morocco, and university campuses.
They also commended the immense sacrifices made by the Sahrawi prisoners in the pursuit of freedom, despite the torture, persecution, and repression they endure at the hands of the Moroccan repressive forces in all their formations. They praised the battle waged by the "Gdeim Izik " prisoners through their defiance of the occupation and its despicable policies until the defeat of the occupation and the establishment of sovereignty.
