Pamplona (Spain), 06 May 2024 (SPS) - A Spanish delegation from the Navarre province is embarking on a working and solidarity visit to the Sahrawi refugee camps, during which they will find out about the situation of the Sahrawi people and witness the progress of the Sahrawi state institutions.
The delegation, includes representatives of the various political parties represented in the Navarre parliament, as well as some local mayors from the province and solidarity associations with the Sahrawi people.
The visit aims to strengthen relations with the representative of the Sahrawi people, the Popular Front, in addition to carrying messages of solidarity and support for the Sahrawi people and its just cause.
The delegation will lead a field trip to some facilities and institutions, during which they will learn about the nature of the work of national institutions and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially the humanitarian aspect.
The participants from the delegation expressed their happiness to carry out this solidarity visit in order to observe the situation of the Sahrawi people in the camps, despite the harsh natural conditions that have not prevented the Sahrawi people from continuing their resistance and defiance in order to achieve their legitimate right to freedom and independence.
