Saxony (Germany), December 12, 2023 (SPS) - The representative of the Polisario Front in the German region of Saxony, Mr. Mohamed Abba Al-Dakhil, was received by a member of the Green Party and a member of the council of the city of Leipzig, Ms. Katerina Akrift.
The meeting, which was attended by the representative of the Sahrawi Youth Union in Germany, Ms. Khadija Badati, dealt with a range of issues and topics, including presenting an overview of the struggle of the Sahrawi people and its latest developments at the national and international levels, including the recent decisions of the European Court of Justice on the Fisheries Convention, as well as the illegal investments made by German companies in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.
The meeting also discussed various aspects of possible cooperation in the future.
The representative of the Sahrawi Youth Union in Germany touched on, during the meeting, the grave human rights violations suffered by the Sahrawi people in the occupied territories of Western Sahara in light of the Kingdom of Morocco’s stubbornness and refusal to implement United Nations resolutions and international law and the difficult humanitarian conditions experienced by the Sahrawi people in refugee camps.
Khadija Badati gave a detailed presentation on the reality and emergence of the Sahrawi Youth Organization and the pioneering role played by Sahrawi youth in the battles of liberation and construction.
