The Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy for Africa is the African Union's plan to leverage the effectiveness of science, technology and innovation to accelerate social and economic transformation in Africa. The African Union Heads of State and Government adopted the first strategy in June 2014, and it is in line with the African Union Agenda 2063, which envisions an “integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa” by 2063.
