9 June School, January 25, 2025 (SPS) - Members of the National Council today, Saturday, overwhelmingly approved the government's program for 2025 during a public session chaired by Member of National Secretariat, President of National Council, Mr. Hamma Salama, with the presence of members from both the legislative and executive bodies.
The Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister responsible for relations with Parliament, Mr. Fadali Ali Bouya, presented the ministry program projects to the members of the National Council after they underwent adjustments and modifications during committee meetings with the relevant government sectors and public deliberation sessions. Each ministry’s program was presented individually for voting by the council deputies and was subsequently approved.
After the approval, the members of the legislative body will begin monitoring and evaluating the government's performance in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and laws of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
