Auserd (refugee camps), October 20, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received this evening the Secretary-General of the General Union of Algerian Workers, Mr. Amar Takdjout, on the sidelines of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the UGTSARIO, held in the wilaya of Auserd.
The President of the Republic expressed his thanks and appreciation to the General Union of Algerian Workers and its role in advocating for just causes, most notably the Sahrawi and Palestinian causes.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the General Union of Algerian Workers renewed the positions of Algerian workers in supporting the Sahrawi cause and standing by the Sahrawi people in their just struggle for freedom and independence.
It is worth noting, that the Secretary-General of Algerian Workers is participating with several delegations and trade unions in the celebrations commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the Sahrawi Trade Union.
