Shaheed El Hafed, May 2, 2024 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received Thursday the newly elected President of the Coordination of Spanish Associations in Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, Ms. Maite Isla, accompanied by Mr. Pepe Tabuaza, founding president of this coordination.
The meeting was attended on the Sahrawi side by Abdallah Larabi, representative of the Polisario Front in Spain, and Mr. Salamo Hamudi, head of political affairs at the Polisario Front representation in Spain.
The guest presented an overview of the prospects for solidarity work in the Spanish arena. She also listened to the instructions of President Ghali regarding the importance of strengthening solidarity work and expanding its scope.
President Ghali commended the historic stance expressed by the Spanish people and their civil society in solidarity with the Sahrawi cause.
