Awserd, February 26, 2024 (SPS) - An important Italian delegation from the Tuscany region arrived today, Monday, in the Wilaya of Awserd, where it was received by the Member of the National Secretariat and the governor of the Wilaya, Mrs. Khira Bullahi Abad.
The Italian delegation, which is accompanied by the Representative of the Polisario Front in the Tuscany region, Mr. Abdallahi Boucheiba, is headed by the President of the Solidarity Network and Friendship with the Sahrawi People, Ms. Nadia Conte, and includes politicians and doctors.
During his visit, the delegation will renew the twinning contract with the Wilaya of Auserd, as well as visiting centers for people with disabilities and reviewing regional libraries.
The Italian delegation will also participate in the commemorations of the 48th anniversary of the declaration of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, hold meetings with the Ministers of Health and Development, and hold talks with managers and officials in the Sahrawi state.
The medical mission accompanying the delegation, which consists of a total of 31 individuals, will conduct medical examinations at the Wlaya’s regional hospital.
