Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories), 11 January 2024 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted a "rear command post" of Moroccan occupation forces in the Kelta sector, indicated a military statement issued by the SPLA's Central Directorate of Political Affairs on Thursday.
The statement, said that "as part of the liberation war and in continuation of the military operations of the SPLA fighters, advanced units of the SPLA carried out a bombardment that targeted a rear command post affiliated with the Royal Moroccan Army in the Kelta sector, where this bombardment caused significant casualties among the ranks of the occupying Moroccan army."
"The SPLA continues its military operations on a daily basis, in the face of the failure of the Moroccan defense system, with its equipment and technology, to repel its attacks," the statement added.
