Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories), 29 December 2023 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) successfully targeted the command post of the Moroccan occupation army's seventh brigade in the Mahbes sector on Friday, causing "significant losses in personnel and equipment," according to a military statement issued by the Central Directorate for Political Affairs of the Sahrawi Army.
The military statement said that "in the framework of the liberation war and the continuation of the military operations of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army, advanced units carried out a concentrated bombardment on Friday that targeted the command post of the Seventh Brigade in the Mahbes sector, causing significant losses, especially at the level of the supply headquarters of the aforementioned brigade."
"The Sahrawi People's Liberation Army attacks continue to inflict "significant losses in personnel and equipment on the Moroccan occupation army along the dividing sand wall and the bases of support and assistance, supply headquarters, and command posts behind it," according to the same statement.
