Shaheed El Hafed, September 7, 2026 (SPS) – The Ministry of Water and Environment today received three new water tankers as part of the support provided by the sisterly Algerian State, aimed at strengthening the Ministry’s capacity to transport and distribute water, improve its response to daily needs, and facilitate interventions across all wilayas.
The handover ceremony was supervised by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Water and Environment and the Central Director of Water. The new tankers will contribute to strengthening the Ministry’s fleet and enhancing its readiness to support the water supply system.
This represents an important addition to the sector’s logistical capabilities and will contribute to improving water transportation and distribution services.
