SPLA Targets Moroccan occupation army positions in Amgala sector

Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), August 1, 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Moroccan occupation army bases and fortified positions in the Amgala sector, inflicting significant losses on Moroccan occupation forces.

According to the military communiqué issued today, Saturday, by the Ministry of National Defence, advanced units of the Sahrawi army carried out a concentrated artillery bombardment on Friday evening, targeting Moroccan occupation army bases and entrenchments in the Amgli Ghaliya and Amgli Dchera areas of the Amgala sector.
