SPLA targets base of Moroccan occupation forces in Oum Dreiga sector

Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), 26 July 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted an enemy base belonging to the Moroccan occupation forces in the Oum Dreiga sector, inflicting losses on the occupying army.

According to Military Communiqué issued by the Ministry of National Defence, advanced units of the SPLA carried out a concentrated bombardment on Friday, targeting a base of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Oum Dreiga sector.

The communiqué added that Sahrawi fighters continue to launch attacks against enemy positions and military concentrations as part of their ongoing war of attrition, causing significant losses in both personnel and equipment among the ranks of the Moroccan army.
