Shaheed El Hafed, June 22, 2026 (SPS) – The member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, Mr. Bachir Mustapha Sayed, emphasized on Monday at the headquarters of the National Council that the Council’s Spring Session has been dedicated to strengthening cooperation and coordination between the legislative and executive branches, as well as addressing issues related to the siyuation of society and its essential needs through a series of activities and educational lectures.
The President of the National Council clarified that the session’s program included themes aimed at training and raising awareness on various aspects of everyday life, contributing to improved institutional performance and a better response to the challenges facing society.
Mr. Bachir Mustapha Sayed highlighted the importance of enhancing community security in all its dimensions, whether through maintaining stability or ensuring the provision of basic services to citizens, foremost among them access to water, food, and education.
He also stressed the importance of health security and the need to adopt preventive policies that protect society, in addition to safeguarding future generations from various risks and challenges that could affect their prospects.
Speaking about technological transformations, the President of the National Council noted that today’s generations face both challenges and opportunities linked to smart technologies. He underlined the need to keep pace with these developments, deepen research efforts, and make effective use of these technologies in vital sectors, particularly health and education.
He added that investing in knowledge and human potential is the foundation of progress, stressing that the strength of nations is measured not only by their natural resources but also by the ability of their minds and talents to innovate, create, and advance various fields.
