Shaheed El Hafed, March 4, 2026 (SPS) – On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, a humanitarian aid convoy loaded with food supplies from the Algerian El Baraka Association for Charitable and Humanitarian Work arrived on Wednesday at the Sahrawi refugee camps, as part of the association’s charitable program in support of Sahrawi refugees.
The convoy was received by the President of the World League of Preachers and Imams for the Support of the Sahrawi People, who praised the noble initiative of El Baraka Association, which has consistently provided humanitarian aid convoys to the Sahrawi people.
He affirmed that the convoy would be distributed to the families of martyrs and underprivileged families, helping to ease the burdens and difficult living conditions faced by the Sahrawi people as a result of displacement caused by the Moroccan occupation, which has uprooted the Sahrawi people from their land and continues to deepen their suffering for five decades.
It is worth noting that this convoy is not the first of its kind, as El Baraka Association has regularly extended assistance to Sahrawi refugees, reflecting the depth of Algerian-Sahrawi solidarity and the humanitarian values of the Algerian people.
