Auserd Wilaya, 20 October 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, on Tuesday honoured the heroes of the operation to blow up the phosphate conveyor belt, carried out on 20 May 1974.
The President of the Republic greeted the honoured group and posed with them for a commemorative photograph.
He also presented the group with the 20 October Sash, awarded by the General Union of Workers of Saguia el-Hamra and Río de Oro (UGTSARIO).
