SPLA targets Moroccan occupation army positions in Mahbes sector

Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), February 12, 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) has targeted Moroccan occupation army positions and entrenchments in Mahbes sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment.

According to a military communiqué by the Ministry of National Defense, advanced detachments of SPLA targeted on Thursday evening the headquarters of a regiment affiliated with the Moroccan occupation army in the area of Akrara Al-Atassa in the Mahbes sector. Moroccan occupation army positions and entrenchments in the area of Abeirat Tnouchad, in the same sector, were also shelled.
