Prime Minister chairs preparatory meeting for Sahara Marathon sporting event

Shaheed El Hafed, February 9, 2026 (SPS) – The Prime Minister, member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Busharaya Hammoudi Bayoun, chaired a meeting dedicated to preparations for the Sahara Marathon sporting event.

The meeting aimed to set out the arrangements related to proper preparation for the event and to define the responsibilities of each of the partner entities.

In a statement to the media, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth and Sports indicated that the meeting discussed the logistical preparations required for the success of the 26th edition of the international Sahara Marathon event, as well as the determination of the tasks to be carried out by each of the partner entities involved in the preparatory process.
