SPLA targets positions and headquarters of Moroccan occupation forces in Mahbes and Guelta sectors

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 16 October 2025 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) have targeted positions and headquarters of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Guelta and Mahbes sectors, inflicting losses among the enemy ranks.

According to the military communiqué issued today, Thursday, by the Ministry of National Defense, detachments of the Sahrawi army on Thursday carried out an attack against the headquarters of a regiment command in the Guelta sector. Another strike targeted a regiment command headquarters in the Mahbes sector, in addition to the shelling of a heavy machinery site in the Tanushad area within the same sector.
