Algiers, July 22, 2025 (SPS) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Yeslem Beissat, affirmed the Sahrawi side’s positive engagement with United Nations efforts and any good-faith initiatives that respect the legal nature of the conflict.
During a press conference held today, Tuesday, at the Sahrawi Embassy in Algiers, addressing the latest developments in the Sahrawi issue, Mohamed Yeslem Beissat clarified that the Sahrawi Republic will continue its constructive cooperation with the United Nations and any other good-faith initiatives that respect the legal nature of the conflict and are based on the principles and foundations of international law.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Affairs emphasized that the Sahrawi Republic will persist in its legitimate struggle by all means to defend its national sovereignty and the internationally recognized rights of the Sahrawi people.
