Reggio Emilia (Italy), July 19, 2025 (SPS) – A delegation of Sahrawi children received an official and warm welcome at the historic Tricolore Hall in Reggio Emilia, Italy, in the presence of the regional president, Mr. Matteo, and the Polisario Front’s representative in Italy, Fatima Mahfoud.
During the ceremony, Fatima Mahfoud, on behalf of the Polisario Front and the "Ambassadors of Peace," expressed deep gratitude to the local authorities for this reception, which reflects the strong bonds of solidarity and humanitarian support for the Sahrawi people’s just struggle.
For his part, President Matteo expressed great pride in hosting the Sahrawi children, describing them as "messengers of peace and hope," and reaffirming Reggio Emilia’s unwavering humanitarian commitment to the Sahrawi cause.
