Rezé (France), July 7, 2025 (SPS) – A group of Sahrawi children arrived in the city of Rezé, near Nantes, to spend their summer vacation as part of the Holidays in Peace program.
The children were welcomed at a center affiliated with Nantes, in the presence of the Polisario Front’s representative in France, Mohamed Ali Zerouali, and a number of Sahrawi association members residing in France.
The reception ceremony took place at the ARPEJ Center, attended by local activists and solidarity supporters, where attendees expressed their great joy at the children’s participation in this humanitarian and educational experience. The program aims to give them an opportunity to relax, broaden their cultural horizons, and discover new environments.
Throughout the week, the children will benefit from an intensive schedule of educational and recreational activities. Their evenings will be spent as guests of families in solidarity with the Sahrawi cause—a step meant to strengthen human bonds and reinforce the values of international solidarity.
