SPLA Targets Moroccan occupation forces’ bases in Oumdrega sector

Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), September 2, 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted bases of the Moroccan occupation army in the Oumdrega sector, inflicting heavy losses on the occupying forces.

The military communiqué reported that advanced detachments of the Sahrawi army carried out, at midday on Wednesday, a concentrated bombardment targeting enemy bases and entrenchments in the Galb Ezzalim area of the Tichla sector, where columns of smoke were seen rising from the targeted base.

Earlier in the morning, Sahrawi army units also launched a concentrated artillery barrage against a base belonging to the Moroccan occupation army in the Oumdrega sector.
