Shaheed El Hafed, June 10, 2026 (SPS) – The Director General of the Algerian Archives, Mohamed Bouanama, affirmed during his visit to the Media Archives Center that the Algerian archives institution will continue supporting the Sahrawi archives until the archiving process is fully completed.
He pointed to the cooperation that has existed for years between the Algerian National Archives and the Sahrawi National Archives.
Mr. Bouanama pointed out that the various stages of cooperation in the field of archiving have made significant progress, covering different phases of the archival process, and that this cooperation will continue until all stages are completed, including digitization.
During his visit, Mr. Bouanama toured the Media Archives Center and its various departments, where he was briefed on the different stages of archival work, the achievements accomplished in the field of archiving, and the challenges that remain to be addressed.
