Harare (Zimbabwe), 29 May 2026 (SPS) - President of Zimbabwe, H.E. Mr. Emmerson Mnangagwa, has reiterated Zimbabwe’s unconditional support for the right to self-determination of the people the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic.
“I wish to reiterate Zimbabwe’s unconditional support for the right to self-determination of the people the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic,” said President Emmerson Mnangagwa in a reply letter to the President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, to a letter he had sent him on the occasion of our 46th Anniversary of Independence.
“I take this opportunity to re-affirm my commitment to continue working closely with Your Excellency, to further broaden and strengthen the strong bonds of friendship and solidarity that have characterised the historic relations between Zimbabwe and the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic, added President Emmerson Mnangagwa in his letter.
