Shaheed Al-Hafed, March 30, 2026 (SPS) – Member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, Mr. Bashir Mustapha Sayed, chaired an expanded meeting of the General Secretariat of the National Council, bringing together its various administrative and technical bodies.
The meeting was devoted to reviewing the work of the different administrative and technical departments within the institution and preparing for the upcoming stages of the work of the National Council’s committees and the next spring session.
The meeting also examined the implementation of the General Secretariat’s program and its response to the requirements of the current phase, which is marked by a return to armed struggle and the mobilization of the national body and the institutions of the Sahrawi state in that direction.
The President of the National Council stressed the importance of seriousness in work, engaging with the various scheduled programs, and collective contribution to improving administration and archiving, preserving deliberations through modern digital methods, securing documents, and safeguarding the institution in a way that ensures comfort for members of both the legislative and executive bodies during their joint work.
He also urged employees to intensify their efforts and maintain discipline and professionalism in order to reflect the national orientation required by the current stage.
