Shaheed El Hafed, February 16, 2026 (SPS) – A high-level German delegation arrived Monday morning, led by the President of the Bremen Parliament, Ms. Antje Grotheer, along with members of the German Friendship Association with the Sahrawi People.
The delegation received both a popular and official welcome upon its arrival in the Sahrawi refugee camps and at Sahrawi State institutions.
The delegation is scheduled to conduct several visits, including to the Sahrawi Red Crescent and the National Council, as well as meetings with Sahrawi officials.
The visit comes within the framework of solidarity with the Sahrawi people on the occasion of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic. It also reflects the depth of German solidarity and support for the Sahrawi cause.
