SPLA Targets Moroccan occupation army headquarters in Guelta sector

Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), 28 January 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted military headquarters of the Moroccan occupation army in the Guelta sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and property.

A military communiqué issued by the Ministry of National Defense indicated that, on Wednesday morning, SPLA units carried out concentrated shelling targeting bases of the Moroccan occupation army, particularly the rear command headquarters in the Guelta sector. The command headquarters of a corps in the El-Aidiyat area of the same sector was also shelled.
