Algiers, 15 November 2025 (SPS) – The president of the Algerian New Dawn Party, Taher Ben Baibech, reaffirmed Algeria’s unwavering support for the Sahrawi people and their just cause, which he described as a decolonization issue.
This came during the opening of the 13th session of the National Council of the New Dawn Party, where he emphasized that Algeria will remain faithful to the principles of the November 1st Revolution in supporting liberation causes, foremost among them the Sahrawi and Palestinian causes.
For his part, member of the Polisario Front’s National Secretariat, ambassador to Algeria, Khatri Addouh, stated that over 50 years of struggle and resistance, the Sahrawi people have foiled all maneuvers carried out by the Moroccan occupation regime and its allies.
He stressed the Sahrawi people’s readiness to continue their resilience and struggle under the leadership of their legitimate representative, the Polisario Front, to reclaim their legitimate rights and establish their state on their land, the Sahrawi Republic.
The ambassador also praised Algeria’s firm and supportive stance toward the Sahrawi people, congratulating the Algerian people and President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the occasion of the glorious November 1st anniversary, which represents the fruit of the Algerian people’s long struggle for freedom and dignity.
