
Cairo (Egypt), September 15, 2025 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Republic has participated in the meeting to establish the Epidemiological Surveillance and Laboratory Network dedicated to North Africa, held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The meeting, which took place from September 7 to 10, falls within the framework of the close partnership between the Ministry of Public Health and the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC).
The Sahrawi Republic was represented at this meeting by a delegation from the Ministry of Public Health, which included Sidi Omar, Central Director of Prevention, Maya Ali Baduh, Head of the Central Division for Chronic Diseases, and Warda Saeed, Coordinator of the Comprehensive Child Health Program.
