Wilaya of Dakhla, April 17, 2025 (SPS) – The proceedings of the 10th Congress of the General Union of Workers of Saguia el-Hamra and Rio de Oro (UGTSARIO), known as the "Martyr Mahjoub Ibrahim Congress," will begin tomorrow in the wilaya of Dakhla.
The three-day congress, held under the slogan "Sahrawi Workers: A Covenant of Loyalty on the Path of the Martyrs," will review the Union's activities during the past term and outline future work prospects. It will also elect a new leadership tasked with implementing the recommendations and action plan emerging from the congress.
On the sidelines of the event, the 8th International Labor Conference will be held.
The congress will bring together delegates from all labor sectors, invited guests, and foreign delegations.
