Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), February 17, 2025 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out a bombardment targeting a logistics support base of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment, indicated a military statement issued by the SPLA Central Directorate of Political Affairs.
In this context, advanced detachments of SPLA conducted a focused bombardment last night, Saturday, targeting the logistics support headquarters of the Moroccan Royal Army in the occupied town of Mahbes. Columns of smoke were seen rising from the targeted location.
The attacks by SPLA continue inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment among the ranks of the Moroccan occupation army, which is entrenched behind the trenches and tunnels of the defensive wall, concluded the statement.
